Web Client with your Domain Name

Roundcube and Squirrel web client can be reached with your domain name instead of the domain servermx.com. For example if the Doman Name is “yourdomain.tld” roundcube and squirrel can be riched with the URL “roundcube.yourdomain.tld” and ”squirrel.yourdomain.tld”.

To do this you have to follow these steps:

1. Login in to your DNS control panel.
2. Locate the option to add CNAME records.
3. Write "roundcube.yourdomain.tld" as Name/Host and put this CNAME "roundcube.servermx.com."
4. Write "squirrel.yourdomain.tld" as Name/Host and put this CNAME "squirrel.servermx.com."
5. The TTL (Time To Live) is the time this record is valid, for example set the value 3600.
6. Select 'Save Zone File' or 'Save' or 'Add Records' to save the changes.

You can use https protocol knowing that it will generate certificate errors. This because web clients with your domain name doesn’t match the SSL certificate. You can still use https, but you'll have to bypass the cert errors.
